Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Master's (graduate) degree is
preferred.

Must possess a minimum of 6+ years experience in
either database administration or development plus
database support and experience in Oracle on Unix
environments. Out of which at least 3 years should
have been with SAP applications running on Oracle on
UNIX.

Must have very good experience in supporting and
tuning large databases (5-6 TB) and DB migrations.

Must have very good experience in installation, setup
and support of SAP applications implementations
(including R/3, BW, APO)from a DBA perspective.

Must have the skills to research, implement DB related
SAP OSS notes and working with SAP and Oracle support
as required.

Must have very good database analyzing and tuning
skills and technical knowledge of RDBMS environment.

Must be very organized, pro-active and self directed;
able to perform with minimal supervision.

Must have very strong abstract thinking and problem
solving skills.

Must have very good verbal and written communication
skills.

A very good background in Business Intelligence is
required for some positions.

Experience with full software development life cycle
(SDLC) and methodologies and project and resources
management.

Experience in working with internal and external
partners.

Ability to interface with all levels in customer
organization
