PROJECT MANAGER (for International Project)
Main Responsibilities
* Leading a project team to ensure that the project will be executed
within the defined quality and safety codes, time and also the given
budget.
* Coordination between the process, construction and utilities and
EHS Engineers to ensure a continuity process of the project execution /
construction supervision to meet the company
's business plan and
objectives
* In detail this role will encompass all supports for the new
projects (green field, brown field) within the PMI Asia Region including
major projects in Indonesia
Accountabilities:
* Planning : To develop a plan and coordination method in monitoring
and controlling the project execution by liaising with the users,
related interdepartmental parties and third parties, analyze and to
define the method of risk control
* Project Control : To coordinate, monitor and control the project
running by liaison with relevant parties (users, PE/Utility, CFE, EHS,
ETS, IS, Contractors, etc), reviewing the submittal / shop drawing,
monitoring and controlling the schedule and supervising the
contractor
's performance, handing over the project to the authorized
related users.
* Project Implementation : To solve the problem during the project
execution in order to keep the project running on the schedule by
analyzing and solving the problem, liaison with relevant parties, define
and adjust modification on the filed execution of the design and still
comply to the overall design, specifications and standard.
* Being Expertise: To give the expertise view in term of technical
view in the building construction process, i.e., practicality of design,
schedule.
* Administration: To prepare, maintain, record and update record of
internal documents related to the project, i.e. minutes of meeting of
field re-tender explanation, coordination meeting minutes, weekly
schedule status report, progress review, site instruction, change
orders, all related work permits requirement (hot work, safety permit,
etc), final project report, handing over form, etc.
* Work Unit Performance: Lead and manage all aspects of his work unit
environments to enable his staffs to individually and collectively
achieve agreed the performance outcomes. Develops his staffs in line
with current job performance requirements and future career aspirations
and also the company
's needs
* Self Development: Take actions required to progressively develop
his competencies in line with current job performance requirements,
future career aspirations and company needs.
Skill & Competencies:
* Minimum Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
* Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Building Engineering
/Operations area, in construction supervision and out of which at least
3 years in managing projects
* Good command in English both written and oral
* Has knowledge and skills in project/construction management, design
and construction methods, building materials, national and international
standard and regulations for design, construction and risk management
* Computer literate.
