PROJECT COST CONTROL

Education: Bachelor Degree (S1) from Accounting.
Requirements:
 
1. Minimum 2 years experienced in cost control / project reporting/accounting.
2. Excellent communication skills - spoken, written, & presentation.
3. Proficient in the use of MS Office.
4. Excellent business analysis skills.  

Responsibilities:

- Utilise & maintain cost control systems, such as Avantis (training will be provided).
- Enter information into cost control system daily & monthly in accordance with company procedures using data collected from all
  departments at site & off site.
- Prepare, review, & approve the cost report for the Project Monthly Report in accordance with reporting deadlines.
- Accurately prepare budget forecasting & progress monitoring activities & reporting for use by the Project Manager in controlling project
  margins.
- Assist with monthly Progress Claims in association with Senior Mining Engineer & to ensure the subsequent invoice is submitted &
  payment received within the payment terms of the contract..
- Prepare cash flow forecasts for the Project.

CONTRACT SPECIALIST / LEGAL COUNSEL

Education: Bachelor Degree (S1) from Law.
Requirements:
 
1. Minimum of three (3) years experience practicing in the areas of commercial law and contract drafting.
2. Ability to provide practical legal advice to senior management, tender and project teams.
3. Ability to advise on and participate in contract negotiations and administration, claims handling and dispute resolution process.
4. Ability to offer commercially oriented solutions and negotiate towards successful outcomes.
5. Ability to review and draft agreements such as Construction Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, Settlement and Release Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements.
6. Liaising and managing external legal service providers.
 
Other requirements:
 
·         An advanced knowledge of the engineering, construction and mining law will be highly regarded.
·         Demonstrate a high degree of common sense, initiative and in-depth expertise in general commercial matters.
·         Fluency in English both oral and written is essential.
