Senior Buyer of Services & Commercial Materials
Scope of position : commercial materials (example promotion items),
commercial services (example event organizer), HR services (example
canteen, contract workers) and other services (example IT services)
Objective
Reporting to the Central Purchasing Manager you are in charge of
thepurchasing of services and commercial materials with following
objectives:
* Develop and implementpurchasing & sourcing plans / strategies for
the Company in line with HR/Marketingand Sales
* Drive continuousperformance improvement with regard to purchasing
and optimise speed,creativity taste, quality, cost leadership, security
of supply, customersatisfaction, payment terms and other terms and
conditions.
* Ensure supply and servicefrom suppliers in line with the agreed
terms / contracts.
* To Conduct The BestPractice Purchasing Excellence- (Bidding,
Transparent in conducting purchasingrole, Contract, Supplier Evaluation,
and etc) -
Main Role
* Idea and concept generation
* Supply Market Intelligence
* Supplier Negotiation, Bidding and Selection
* Supplier Sourcing & Development
* Supplier Contract and optimization
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement shortand medium term sourcing strategies and
action plans in order to realise thecompany objectives with regard to
speed, creativity taste, quality, costleadership, security of supply,
and customer satisfaction.
* Validate suppliers,negotiate contracts and/or SLA
's and
managethese with suppliers to ensure supply and service against the
agreed terms.
* Todevelop suppliers both in operational and strategic level to
build a goodalignment with suppliers in order to gain more value for the
company, such as:Consignment, lead time, MOQ, innovation, Quality
expectation, term payment andetc.
* To review, monitor andevaluate suppliers performance
* To develop the networking and database in order to bringmore value
added to company
* To initiate improvementsin purchasing to improve efficiency and/or
value to internal customer / company
* Develop, maintain andcontrol adequate processes, procedures and
systems for HR/Marketing and Salesprocess, ordering, contract compliance
and vendor management.
* Lead Staff andDevelopment of staff
Others
* University – S1
* Work experience:
a. >3-5 years in Purchasing with affection for
commercial materials or
b. >3-5years in Marketing with affection for
purchasing
* MS Office and relevant SAP experience
* FMCG experience is an advantage
* Experience in dealing with overseas suppliers
* Achieving Results : structured approach withcontinuous improvement
mindset
* Create value for internal customer
* Pro-active mindset; having ability to recogniseopportunities and
act on them
