BACKGROUND

Indonesia aims at improving the quality of life of the people in developing
countries by promoting Sexual and
Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), awareness of the importance of SRHR for
sustainable human development, understanding of the
central role of reproductive health in population issues and the elimination of
Gender-Based Violence. Through awareness creation, education, resource
mobilisation, and the provision of information and services, especially to

Dance4life
is an international movement to empower young people to take action themselves
to push back HIV and AIDS. Through
youth icons, music and dance, schools programmes and media campaigns,
Dance4Life tries to create awareness, educates, and raises funds and political
support. It has now being
conducted in 25 countries. (www.dance4life.com)

In 2010, WPF Indonesia and Dance4Life International are planning to carry
out the program in Jakarta, Indonesia.• 

• 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Country Representative (CR), the PM will
have following responsibilities:

•§•  Work
with partners to develop and implement the project strategies and work plans

•§•  Establish
and strengthen the relationship with partner institutions, relevant
governmental agencies, local and international organisation and donor community


•§•  Acts
as the Public Relation for the project

•§•  In
collaboration with partners, assist the CR to seek additional fund for the
project.

•§•  Facilitate
meeting and discussion with partners on implementation issues and propose
efficient solutions to resolve the issues

•§•  Collaborate
with staff from local partners to organise/conduct events

•§•  Responsible
in the development of education/training materials and other project documents

•§•  Manage consultants related to the project’s area of
expertise

•§•  Coordinate, supervise and oversee project activities

•§•  Understands and undertakes project management and budgeting

•§•  Prepare and translate project related official
correspondences and documents

•§•  Ensure that reports and proposals are prepared and
processed according to WPF standards

•§•  Be able and willing to conduct frequent field travel

•§•  Perform other duties as assigned and required by WPF
