Disaster
Risk Reduction Officer

Overall
Responsibility
The DRR Officer
is responsible to assist DRR sector head in planning and monitoring of disaster
risk reduction projects. This will include training and capacity building,
project implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, research and
programme development and networking and coordination.

Main
duties and responsibilities:

§ Assist DRR sector in planning, organizing, budget management andimplementing DRR project
§ Prepare
progress report of DRR project
§ Provide
technical support in DRR training and capacity building

DRR sector head to ensure that project goals are met.
§ Liaise with other NGOs, relevant government agencies and other

The consultant will be an integral part of the PREM Team and Conflict and
Development Team based in Banda Aceh. The consultant's main responsibility
is to lead the expansion of the tsunami expenditure tracking system to
development needs due to the conflict and track expenditures province-wide.
Specific responsibilities will include:
· *Consolidating existing data to include needs resulting from the
tsunami, the conflict and other sources of poverty· Masters degree or above in economics, public finance, accounting,
regional development or related discipline.

· Minimum 2 years working experience with issues related to
post-conflict development, reconstruction development, regional government
budget (APBD).

· Proven track record and strong analytical skill in quantitative and/or
qualitative academic research

· Excellent communication skills and good oral and written English
language skills;
