Yagasu is an environmental NGO who has projects in Aceh, Nias, North
Sumatra. Our Foundation has two main offices in Medan and Banda
Aceh, and has opened a small branch office in Jakarta (Jalan Bangka
Raya No. 1, Kemang area)since February 2008. At the moment our
Foundation works on species and forest conservation, coastal
restoration, community development (develop small business), social
mission (caring orphanage) and manage Community Learning/Information
Center in Banda Aceh and Medan, and Coastal Research Station in
Percut Deli Serdang. We are working with multi-donor funds that come
from many different countries such as Netherland, USA, UK, France
and Japan and international companies. There are two team in our
Foundation: one team is working on project base (non-profit) under
Yagasu management; and another team is working on business
development (profit base) under AMI management (business division of
Yagasu). The office in Jakarta will currently be set up as
Information Center, Public Relation and administration supports for
those activities. Our Foundation is currently seeking for a
qualified candidate to be posted in our branch office of Jakarta for
the position of Administration Officer – based in Jakarta, but
sometimes be able on duties to Medan, Banda Aceh, Central Java and
Bali and other project sites. This position is responsible to
maintain the administration works within the official program,
ensuring that: • It meets/complies to office administration,
internet care, filling system, reporting monitoring system,
procurement, asset management and financial supporting management; •
She is expected to provide valid, relevant and accurate operating
information on timely basis to support Director and consultants in
setting the goals, decision making and control the performance of
the official works. • She is also responsible for preparing,
analyzing, consolidating the monthly report of Jakarta program
office. • She should provide assistance to project management and
monitoring which need a strong working relationship with projects
thru regular communications and meetings. • She must involve on the
work plan review and discussion and closely with management team in
coordinating their program activities Requirements: •
University/College degree, with at least 2 years related working
experiences • Experienced working with internet and computerized
management system • Technical expert on complex official issues,
spreadsheet and simple financial system • Experience with Laptop
computer skills in Microsoft Office and ability to communicate
electronically • Excellent organizational and administrative
skills • Good verbal and written communication skills in English •
