Lead Operations
EngineerBasic Purpose
• The Lead
Engineer reports to the Offshore Operation Engineering
Support Manager and is responsible for leading activities in support
of day-to-day operations of Eastern Hub Offshore Operations,
currently compromising Belanak FPSO and two Well Head platforms to
ensure the facility operates at optimum production with the highest
standard of operation integrity
• The position is accountable for optimization initiatives and
ensuring that full utilization of existing online optimization tools
occurs. This position is responsible for ensuring that activities are
completed to the required standards of safety and quality and within
the scheduled time and budget.
• This position is also responsible for effectively managing and
developing a multi-disciplined national team of engineers who are
held responsible for the effective technical support of the
facilities including day to day troubleshooting, defect elimination,
and small project execution.
• This position will prioritize work requests and balance support
between internal resources and the available resources from a
dedicated engineering services contractor.

• To lead a multi-disciplined group consisting of process,
facilities, and systems engineers focused on day-to-day technical
support and improvement of operability assurance.
• Ownership of asset optimization of operation from inlet facility to
sales point.
• Implementing Real Time Monitoring and Optimization process along
with transition to new roles, procedures and tools/system that
support process and monitoring process KPI
• Lead the implementation of future optimization tools, practices and
end device implementation.
• Responsible for providing work direction to process and facility
engineering and identify other supports within organization.
• Liaison between engineering group to OIM and Supt to ensure focus
on optimizing the whole asset
• Participate in regular operation production metrics review and
other relevant downtime investigation meeting
• Ownership of the RCA process and asset lead for Defect Elimination
process
• Responsible for career development for
engineer including training
plan
• Leading engineering team in providing technical/operation input in
major project activities including peer review , commissioning and
start up support
• Technical lead for major shutdown activities and maintenance
projects
• Responsible for providing input plant utility surveillance
including power generator, air instrument, fuel gas balance,
cooling/heating medium system
• To ensure integrated plant modeling is developed and update on
regular basis and can be utilized as planning tools
• Implement Small Project Management (FEL Process) and execution of
minor /small projects.
• Lead process study/ conceptual design to improve plant performance,
facility efficiency, operability and other process related work
• Coordinate regular facility testing/plant performance test to
ensure the facility design vs. throughput is recognized and the
facility limitation is identified.
• Providing Quality Assurance and Quality Control of subordinates to
ensure "completed staff work" model are in place

• Engineering degree from recognized university or institution
preferable from Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or others
applicable background
• Having 10-15 years experience in oil and gas industry preferably in
gas/oil production & optimization
• Clearly demonstrated technical competence specifically in the areas
of offshore production processes and facilities with a preference for
gas processing, cryogenics and fractionation experience.
